This is certainly a plain jane laptop and isnt going to win you any girlfriends. But at time of writing it is the number one best seller on Amazon UK - So it must have something going for it!
Compaq believe, "The Compaq Presario CQ61 range delivers versatility and quality without compromising on price, and is designed to provide the right set of features at great value..." I think that must be code for it will do the basics, if your lucky but not much more! - But Im cheap so buy me - buy me - please buy me!
An independent retailer says, "The Compaq Presario CQ61 combines essential features, attractive design and quality to put the versatility and productivity of notebook computing within your reach." But of course they would wouldnt they?
T is a fairly mediocre review on dooyoo.co.uk that says it is OK but burns your lap. This is typical of allot of laptops these days, even some of the more expensive ones.
